Yes! Our Vendor Responsibility Program requires the vendors of products in our supply chain to evaluate and address the risks of human trafficking and slavery. Vendors doing business with us agree that they and their subcontractors shall adhere to our employment standards and shall not use any form of convict, banded, forced, indentured, or other illegal labor, or any form of slavery or human trafficking. Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's are implementing the requirement for vendors to certify that they have procedures to ensure that component parts, incorporated into their products can comply with applicable laws including those on slavery and human trafficking. We use both announced and unannounced audits conducted by internal personnel and independent auditors to reasonably assure vendor compliance.
Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's associates, directly responsible for supply chain management, are required to complete vendor responsibility program training which includes awareness of human trafficking and slavery risks in the supply chain of products and ways to mitigate those risks. Our standards include engaging only suppliers who agree to conform to our standards regarding slavery and human trafficking.
Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's maintain accountability standards and procedures for any associate or vendor who is determined to have failed these requirements.
